Part of our Synadentix overview. Last checked October 28, 2026.
Synadentix chewable tablets are soft tablets meant to dissolve in the mouth, sold 30 to a bottle with one tablet as the serving[1]. Each tablet holds a 400 mg proprietary blend of 10 named actives, sweetened with xylitol. We read the label and the vendor's directions on October 28, 2026, and found three different instructions for how to take it.
The format matters because the vendor's pitch is about the mouth itself: the sales page says the tablet is "specifically formulated to rebuild the oral microbiome"[2]. That is the vendor's claim, and no study of this tablet backs it.
What is the Synadentix chewable tablet?
Synadentix is a soft chewable dietary supplement tablet, not a toothpaste or a mouthwash. The label lists a single 400 mg proprietary blend of guava fruit powder, microcrystalline hydroxyapatite, lactoferrin, lysozyme, lactoperoxidase, glucose oxidase, dextranase, amylase, amyloglucosidase and beta-glucanase[1].
The "other ingredients" are xylitol, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate and natural flavoring. Xylitol gives the tablet its sweet taste, and it is the one ingredient with a sizable body of dental research, though that research is on gum, toothpaste, rinses and lozenges.
The label shows no amount for any single active. Split evenly, each would be about 40 mg, but the real split is unknown. Enzyme activity units, the xylitol amount and the hydroxyapatite particle size are not printed either.
What do the label and directions show?
The facts point to a product whose directions do not agree with each other. Here is what each vendor page says, checked October 28, 2026:
| Source | How to take it | Tablets a day |
|---|---|---|
| Bottle label[1] | After brushing or mouthwash, hold in the mouth 30 seconds to dissolve, then swallow | 1 to 2 |
| Sales page FAQ[2] | Melt under the tongue or chew slowly at night before bed | 1 |
| Contact page FAQ[3] | Chew one before bed; no rinsing, brushing or water afterward; let it fully dissolve | 1 |
The label is the version printed on the product, so it is the one to follow if you buy. At the label maximum of 2 tablets a day, a 30-tablet bottle lasts 15 days, not a month.
Who the label says should ask first
The label caution covers pregnant or nursing women, anyone under 18, and people with a known medical condition[1]. The contact FAQ contradicts it, saying the formula "has been designed for all ages and medical conditions"[3]. Go by the label.
What the xylitol research covers
A Cochrane review found low-quality evidence that fluoride toothpaste with xylitol reduced caries in children's permanent teeth more than fluoride toothpaste alone[4]. A systematic review found xylitol likely lowers mutans streptococci without changing the overall oral microbiota[5]. Those studies used gum, toothpaste, rinses and lozenges with known amounts, and Synadentix does not state its xylitol amount.
A 2024 study linked higher blood xylitol to major cardiac events and found a xylitol drink raised platelet reactivity[6]. People on blood thinners or with clotting risk should ask a doctor. For the full ingredient picture, see does Synadentix work.
Why a 30-second chewable is a different test from toothpaste
Most dental research on the blend ingredients put them on the teeth for minutes at a time. Hydroxyapatite chewing gum, 2 pieces 3 times a day for 2 weeks, eased dentin sensitivity more than placebo gum in 100 people[7]. The Synadentix label asks you to hold the tablet for 30 seconds, then swallow.
The one format close to a chewable is a sucked tablet of lactoferrin with lactoperoxidase. Taken after every meal for 8 weeks, those tablets lowered bacteria counts on the tongue and in plaque in 46 older adults[8]. That trial measured bacteria, not cavities or gum disease, and it used several tablets a day.
How long a bottle lasts
| Order (checked October 28, 2026) | Tablets | At 1 a day | At 2 a day |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 bottles, $158 | 60 | 2 months | 1 month |
| 3 bottles, $207 | 90 | 3 months | 6 weeks |
| 6 bottles, $294 | 180 | 6 months | 3 months |
The vendor pushes the 6-bottle order and says supplements take "around 9-12 weeks to show results"[3]. At 2 tablets a day, even 3 bottles run out at 6 weeks.
Prices are from the vendor page and sold through BuyGoods as a one-time charge with no autoship[2].
What should you check before buying a chewable tablet?
- Allergies. Lactoferrin and lysozyme are usually milk- and egg-derived. The label does not say, so ask first if you react to milk or egg.
- Pets. Xylitol is toxic to dogs. Store the bottle where a dog cannot reach a dropped tablet.
- Bottle count. At 2 a day, 6 bottles cover 3 months, not 6.
- Your routine. A tablet does not replace brushing, flossing or dental visits.
- Price. There is no single bottle; the smallest order is 2 bottles for $158, checked October 28, 2026. See the Synadentix price guide.
- Refund rules. The 90-day window starts at delivery, and you must post every bottle back at your own cost.
See a dentist or doctor right away if
- your gums bleed often or are swollen and sore
- a tooth feels loose or hurts when you bite
- you have facial swelling, fever or a bad taste with pus
- a mouth sore lasts longer than two weeks
Our take
The Synadentix chewable is an easy format to take, but the vendor cannot agree with itself on how to take it, and the label hides every active dose inside one 400 mg blend. Follow the label's directions, not the FAQ versions.
The xylitol has real dental research behind it in other formats. The other 10 actives have no trial as a swallowed tablet. If you still want to try it, read our Synadentix oral support guide first.

Frequently asked questions
Do you chew or swallow Synadentix tablets?
The bottle label says to hold one tablet in the mouth for 30 seconds to dissolve, then swallow, ideally after brushing. The vendor FAQs instead say to melt it under the tongue or chew it before bed. Follow the label printed on the bottle.
How many Synadentix chewables are in a bottle?
Each bottle holds 30 soft tablets and one tablet is a serving. The label allows 1 or 2 a day, so a bottle lasts 30 days at one a day or 15 days at the label maximum.
What sweetens Synadentix chewable tablets?
The label lists xylitol among the other ingredients, along with microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate and natural flavoring. The xylitol amount is not stated. Xylitol is toxic to dogs, so keep tablets away from pets.
Is Synadentix safe if I have a milk or egg allergy?
The label does not state the source of lactoferrin or lysozyme, which are usually made from milk and egg. Ask your doctor or the vendor before taking it if you have either allergy.
Can I take Synadentix before bed?
The vendor FAQs suggest chewing one before bed with no rinsing afterward, while the label says after brushing or mouthwash, once or twice a day. Taking it after your evening brushing fits both versions.
